Send us photos of what needs to go and you get a fixed price back – not an estimate that changes when the van arrives. A two-person crew collects from any address in the 32 boroughs, does the carrying and loading, and leaves a waste transfer note behind. Most jobs are collected the same or next day.
We are a licensed waste carrier, which matters more in London than almost anywhere: fly-tipped waste is traced back to the person who paid for its removal, and the fixed penalty lands on you, not on the man with a van. Every load we take is disposed of at a licensed facility, separated for recycling, and documented.
What we collect is easier to define by exception. Not asbestos, not clinical waste, not paint or chemicals, not anything still full of fuel. Everything else – furniture, appliances, garden waste, renovation debris, office clear-outs, a garage that has quietly filled over ten years – is a normal day’s work.
Prices start from £45 for a single item and scale by volume and weight; the full table is on the rubbish removal prices page. Need it gone today? See same-day rubbish removal.
General rubbish removal covers most things. These pages exist for the jobs that are priced or handled differently – because of weight, urgency, regulation, or simply how much there is.
Nowhere to put it. In a terrace or a mansion block there is no drive to stack things on, and rubbish left on the pavement is an obstruction that also attracts other people’s fly-tipping. We collect from inside the property, so nothing has to wait outside.
Parking. Controlled zones, red routes, school streets and market days all decide when a van can stand. Tell us where it can wait when you book; it is the single biggest cause of a rebooked collection.
Stairs. A large share of London lives above the ground floor without a lift. We price the carry honestly rather than discovering it on the day.
Council alternatives. Every borough runs a bulky waste collection, often with a waiting list, a cap on items, and a rule that everything sits at the boundary on the morning. If the wait and the carrying suit you, use it; our borough-by-borough guide lists the current prices and limits.
Search the Environment Agency’s public register for the company name. A registered upper-tier carrier is listed with a number and an expiry date. If a firm cannot show you one, the cheap quote is cheap because the waste is not going where it should.
Keep the transfer note. It is your proof if that load is ever found dumped.
Volume – from a single item to a full van; you pay for the space used, not the whole vehicle.
Weight – rubble, soil and paving are charged by the tonne because they hit the vehicle limit long before they fill it.
Access – floors without a lift and long carries add crew time.
Not charged extra – dismantling flat-pack, disconnecting appliances, the transfer note.
No callbacks, no surprises. Snap a photo of your rubbish, send your postcode, get a fixed price back.
