Price

Microwave Disposal Pricing

A single microwave is our smallest load (from £45) plus a £25 eco-charge, so it starts from £70. The eco-charge covers disposal: electrical items have to go through a WEEE-licensed recycler. Collected with other items, a microwave is priced as part of the load plus the eco-charge, which is the better value. All prices are subject to VAT.

Best value when combined with other appliances or bulky items.

A microwave on its own starts from £70: our smallest load (£45) plus a £25 WEEE eco-charge. Collected with other items it is priced as part of the load plus the eco-charge, which is the better value. All prices are subject to VAT.

Yes. A single microwave is our smallest load (£45) plus the £25 WEEE eco-charge. It is more economical to add it to a collection of other items such as kettles, toasters or larger appliances.

Yes, we can extract built-in microwaves from housing units. These should be disconnected from power first. We handle removal from the cabinet and disposal.

Microwaves are classified as electronic waste (WEEE) and contain components including magnetrons that require specialist recycling. Proper disposal ensures materials are recovered and hazards handled safely.

Yes, we collect all small kitchen appliances including kettles, toasters, blenders, coffee machines, and food processors. Combining items makes collection more economical.

Microwaves are recycled at licensed WEEE facilities. Metal casings, glass, electronics, and magnetrons are all processed appropriately, and as much material as possible is recovered.
