Wheelie Bins and Recycling Stations Sized for Every London Event

Event organisers repeatedly hit the same wall – bins full by 9pm, stewards running around with bin bags, photographs of overflowing waste shared on social media. The fix is rarely more staff; it is the right number of the right bins, placed where people actually throw rubbish away.

Wedding planners need discrete bins that never appear in photographs, placed away from ceremony aisles and reception lines, but emptied between courses so nothing smells in August.

Festival production teams need front-of-house stations that encourage segregation, back-of-house Eurobins that caterers can empty without leaving their pitch, and FEL or roll-on roll-off containers sized for the 10pm peak when everyone leaves at once.

Corporate AV and exhibition teams need bins they can wheel into service corridors at ExCeL and Olympia without tripping breakout-room layouts, then have collected on a schedule that respects the union break rules of the venue.

Any London Waste delivers the right bin fleet for your event, in the right colours, at the right locations, emptied as often as the show pattern demands. We handle everything from 240L kitchen-style bins for a 50-guest wedding to fleets of 60+ 1100L bins with 8-yard FELs for a three-day festival.

What Makes Our Event Bin Hire Different

Bin Plans Signed Off for Licensing

Your licence pack goes to the council with a drawn bin plan, stream list and collection schedule – not a hand-written paragraph.

Match Your Event Branding

Bin skins, wraps and A3 signage in sponsor colours for brand-sensitive events.

Delivery in Curfew Windows

We work to venue curfew rules – including 6am Hyde Park windows and Westminster out-of-hours permits.

Right-Sized, Not Oversold

We plan bin counts from attendance and food/drink offer – not a default template – so you aren't paying for empty containers.

Stewarding Brief Support

Printed one-page guide for your stewards on which bin takes what – cuts contamination at source.

Back-of-House Caterer Packs

Separate food-waste caddies and cooking-oil drums delivered straight to each caterer pitch.

Real London Example

Three-day outdoor festival in Victoria Park, 18,000 daily attendees, five food traders and two bars. We delivered 48× 1100L wheelies, 12× 3-stream public stations, 4× 8yd FELs and 6× 240L food-waste caddies for caterers. FELs were emptied nightly; wheelies emptied twice daily. Recycling rate came back at 91% with zero overflow complaints logged by the park ranger.

"Bin plan arrived with the licence pack on day one. Council approved it without a single question. That saved us a week."

Rachel M., Head of Production, independent festival promoter

Event Bin Hire FAQ

A quick rule of thumb: one 1100L bin per ~500 attendees for a food and drink event, plus a dedicated recycling station per bar. We refine that with your actual food and drink offer and event length, then send a bin-count drawing before you commit.

Yes. We regularly deliver within 6am–8am Hyde Park windows and handle Westminster and Camden out-of-hours permits for early-morning drop-offs. Let us know the venue rule at quote stage and we'll build it into the delivery plan.

Recycling stations are quoted alongside the residual bins. We build 3-stream (residual, mixed recycling, food) or 4-stream (adding glass) sets depending on your event. Stations come with printed A3 signage matching Simpler Recycling colours.

Yes – every bin is delivered with initial liners, and we leave a stock of spare bags with your stewarding team. Food-waste caddies come with certified compostable caddy liners so the contents stay AD-compatible.

Overflow is the main risk, so we build buffer capacity into every plan and keep reserve bins on the truck. For multi-day events we have a dedicated on-site crew; for shorter events, one phone call gets an emptying run inside the hour across most of London.

Yes – we supply vinyl bin wraps and printed A3 station signage in your sponsor's colours. Provide artwork seven working days before delivery and we'll handle the print and fitting.

No – under duty-of-care rules the collection has to be made by a licensed waste carrier, so bin hire and collection come as one service. That keeps your paperwork clean and gives you one invoice.

For festivals and council-licensed events, 4–6 weeks is ideal so the bin plan can go in with the licence application. For private events at established venues, a week is usually enough. We take emergency bookings too when capacity allows.

Yes – glass is far cleaner (and more valuable) recycled on its own. We supply 240L green-lid bins for each bar and collect them separately, which also keeps the main waste stream lighter and cheaper.

All 32 London boroughs plus the City of London. Our depots cover Central, North, South, East and West London, with regular event work at Hyde Park, Victoria Park, Alexandra Palace, Greenwich, ExCeL, Olympia and most private-hire venues.
