Clear Your Unwanted Items – We Handle Everything

Whether you’re dealing with a cluttered spare room, clearing out after a house move, or finally tackling that pile of broken furniture in the garden, we can help. Our two-person crews collect mixed junk from anywhere on your property – inside or out – and take it away the same day.

There’s no need to sort, bag, or move anything yourself. Point us to what needs to go, and we’ll do the rest. We work across all London boroughs, from basement flats in Islington to detached houses in Bromley, and we’re used to navigating narrow hallways, tight staircases, and limited parking.

As a licensed waste carrier, we’re legally required to dispose of your items responsibly – and we take that seriously. Around 90% of what we collect is recycled or reused, and you’ll receive a waste transfer note as proof of proper disposal.

Our crew arrives at the agreed time, loads everything onto the van, and leaves your space clean and clear. You’ll receive a waste transfer note by email.

What We Collect

We take almost anything that isn’t hazardous. Here’s what we most commonly clear:

Furniture & Household Items

Sofas, beds, mattresses, wardrobes, tables, chairs, desks, bookshelves, and anything else taking up space. We dismantle flat-pack furniture on site if needed.

Appliances & Electronics

Fridges, freezers, washing machines, cookers, TVs, computers, and small electricals. Fridges are degassed at an approved facility before recycling.

Garden Waste & Outdoor Items

Shed contents, old garden furniture, broken fencing, soil, rubble, plant pots, and general garden clutter. We can also dismantle sheds and decking.

Renovation & DIY Waste

Plasterboard, tiles, timber, bathroom suites, kitchen units, carpet, and other materials left over from building work or home improvements.

Office & Commercial Clearances

Desks, filing cabinets, IT equipment, shop fittings, and general office clutter. We can work outside business hours to avoid disruption.

General Clutter & Mixed Waste

Boxes of old paperwork, toys, clothing, sports equipment, decorations – the kind of accumulated stuff that builds up over years. No need to sort it first.

Pricing Guide

We charge based on how much space your items take up in the van, not by weight or number of items. This keeps things simple and predictable.

Load Size Typical Items Price From
Single item One sofa, mattress, or appliance £50
Quarter load A few bags and small items £120
Half load Contents of a small room £180
Full load Large room clear-out or multiple rooms £320

Prices include labour, loading, transport, and disposal. Additional charges may apply for items on upper floors without a lift, or for hazardous materials that need specialist handling. We’ll always confirm the final price before starting.

When a Collection Service Makes More Sense Than a Skip

You don’t have space for a skip

Many London streets have residents’ parking or no frontage. A skip needs a council permit (often £30–£65) and takes several days to arrange. Our team loads the van and drives away – no permit needed.

Your items are inside the property

Skips sit on the road – you still need to carry everything out yourself. We collect from any room, floor, or garden, including dismantling furniture that won’t fit through doorways.

You need it done today

Skip hire usually takes 2–3 days to arrange. We often have same-day availability, and most collections take under an hour on site.

You have a mix of different waste types

Skips have restrictions – you can’t put fridges, tyres, or electrical items in most skips. We take mixed loads and sort them at our facility for proper recycling.

It’s a one-off clear-out, not an ongoing project

If you’re moving house, clearing a deceased relative’s home, or just having a long-overdue declutter, a single collection visit is usually quicker and cheaper than hiring a skip for a week.

Junk Removal FAQ

No. Just show our team what needs to go and we’ll take care of the rest. We bring our own bags, tools, and protective sheeting. If furniture needs dismantling to get through doorways, we handle that too. The only thing we ask is that items are accessible – if things are buried behind other belongings, clearing a path beforehand helps us work faster.

If you contact us before 2 PM, we can often collect the same day – subject to crew availability in your area. Otherwise, next-day collection is almost always possible. For urgent situations like a landlord inspection or moving day, let us know and we’ll do our best to prioritise your job.

Ideally, yes – at least when we arrive, so you can confirm exactly what’s going. However, if that’s not possible, some customers leave items outside or arrange key access. We’re flexible and can work around your schedule. Just let us know when you book.

Yes. A large proportion of our London collections are from flats above the ground floor. We carry items downstairs, use lifts where available, and bring the right tools for the job. If your building has specific access rules – like a goods lift that needs booking or restricted parking – let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Everything goes to a licensed waste transfer station where it’s sorted by material type. Wood, metal, textiles, and electronics are separated for recycling or recovery. Items in good condition are diverted to reuse organisations where possible. We maintain a recycling rate of around 90%, and very little ends up in landfill. You’ll receive a waste transfer note confirming legal disposal.

We can’t collect asbestos, clinical or medical waste, explosives, or certain chemicals. If you’re unsure about a specific item, just ask – we’ll let you know. For hazardous household items like paint tins or batteries, we can usually include them as part of a larger mixed collection. See our hazardous waste disposal page for details.

We charge by volume – how much space your items take up in our van. This means a light but bulky sofa costs more than a heavy but compact box of books. We quote a fixed price before the job starts, so there are no surprises. The price includes labour, loading, transport, disposal, and your waste transfer note.

For a single bin bag, probably. But for anything more, the maths changes quickly. Most London recycling centres now require pre-booking, limit the number of visits, and restrict van or trailer access. Factor in your time, fuel, and multiple trips, and a professional collection is often comparable in cost – without the hassle of queuing and unloading.

Both. We regularly handle single-item pickups – a broken washing machine, an old mattress – as well as complete property clearances for landlords, estate agents, and families dealing with probate. For full house clearances, we typically send a larger crew and can usually complete a standard three-bedroom property within a day. See our house clearance page for more details.

Yes. We work with offices, shops, restaurants, warehouses, and other commercial premises across London. Business collections include full duty of care documentation, and we can arrange out-of-hours pickups if you need us to work around your operating hours. For regular commercial collections, we can set up an ongoing arrangement with preferential rates.
